I go to dog shows for the excitement, and to have fun, besides learning more about the breed. I enjoy meeting and making friends at the shows.
The dog shows in Finland take almost all day. There are quite a few dogs entered, and the judge has to give a written critique on each exhibit, which takes a long time and a lot of patience.
Since I show Collies, I always hope that the ring size is big enough so that they can be moved properly, which is important in the Herding Group.
I expect the judge to be honest, and do justice to all the exhibits besides being polite to all the participants!
